Through individual gifts, St. Peter members are able to help bring support to people in need from around the world.  Through  the WELS Committee on Relief funds have been raised and used to help people recover from disasters of nature, personal hardships, and medical needs.

Originally established in 1946 to provide relief for German and Polish citizens trying to recover from World War II, the Committee on Relief now uses funds to rebuild homes, plant seeds, dig water wells, and help with medical, financial, and hunger needs all over the world. Gifts are given to both WELS members and non-members in need.
